We finished our final project in Moffett, OK.  We'll continue to base here while we take care of some much needed maintenance, get some rest, as we seek The LORD to see where we will serve Him next.  Click here to view the video from our last rebuild in Moffett.

To stay up to date with what we're doing, please see our blog and/or our newsletters, links are above.  Please pray that wherever we are and whatever we do, we'd be diligent as we share the love of Jesus with those around us in a tangible way.  Please remember to keep us in your prayers and especially that we'd grow in our relationship with The LORD and draw others to Him in all we say and do!  Curt & Mary Jo

Mary Jo and I continue to press on in all that the Lord calls us to do.  There are many expenses involved in this type of ministry, including but not limited to fuel, vehicle purchase/maintenance/repair, tools, supplies, food, etc.  We do NOT solicit funds from anyone that we help.  ALL of the services that we perform are completely free to those affected by a disaster.

In 2011 Mary Jo quit her job and this allowed us to begin staying in the field for longer periods of time.  Since then we have spent more time on the road then we do at home.  Being on the road this long caused us to not be able to operate our business in a Godly way so with much prayer we closed the doors of our business in August of 2013!  We are relying totally on the Lord to meet all of our needs as we pray about what to do with our home in Sarasota.

We are not on any church staff and don't receive a salary from anyone.  We are praying for full-time supporters so that we can stay in the field longer and help more people.  This most importantly helps us build stronger relationships with those affected by the storms and with the local church.  We then are able to help join the two together as one day we do leave and the local church body is the remnant that God already has in place to fulfill His command of going into all the world and making disciples.

We are looking for people, groups and churches who are willing to support us for $25, $50, $100, $250, or more on a monthly basis.  Please don't give to us in place of your tithes and offerings to your local church.  Giving to us, or any other ministry outside of your local church, should come only after you have fulfilled your local church giving.

As a ministry of The River Ministries, a 501c3 Religious Tax Exempt Organization, your donations are tax deductible.  We are also held accountable by them for all that we do.

It is through the faithful giving of God's people that we are able to respond to the needs of those affected by disasters.  If the Lord has laid it on your heart to help fund the ministry you can give in one of two ways, please make sure you note that the funds be directed to Calvary Relief:

Please note that per IRS rules you cannot note what to do with donated monies and get a tax deduction.  We do NOT accept any donation for specific disasters, projects, tools, etc.  All giving to Calvary Relief will receive a tax deductible receipt at the end of the year from The River Ministries.  When you give to Calvary Relief you are trusting that God is guiding us to use any donations coming into the ministry in a Godly and responsible fashion.
