But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.— Hebrews 11:6 AMP
To tell you the truth from what I see in unfortunately, a lot of the "American" church today, I'm not sure that the statement, Christians want to please The LORD is true anymore. You might say that we just don't know how, to that I'd say, do you dig into God's Word? Are you earnestly seeking Him? What happened to becoming holy like I AM holy? (1 Peter 1:15-16) What happened to come out from among them and be separate says The LORD? (2 Corinthians 6:17).
The world around you and me, doesn’t need more of the world, they need Jesus. They need to see the hope that is in us and they see that because Jesus, our hope, is lived out in our lives in front of them. And parents and grandparents that applies to us in our homes, the world closest to us. And when they see Jesus through how we live our lives in the midst of the trials and issues we ALL face, we need to be ready to share The Gospel with them and do it! (1 Peter 3:15)
Man, I so desire to continue to press on towards the prize that God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus and want the reward for earnestly seeking Him, what about you? (Philippians 3:14, Matthew 25:14-23)
There is absolutely no other reason to exist on this earth than to die to ourselves, our fleshly/worldly desires, and live for The LORD daily! (Luke 9:23-25). Jesus then goes on to say in Luke, that if we’re ashamed of Him while we live out our time on this earth, then He will be ashamed of us when He comes back. (Luke 9:26) I’m not so sure that Jesus being ashamed of me could result in anything good!
There is still hope for you, me, and the rest of the world. It isn’t found in politicians, government, the “American Dream”, our friends and family, even a church or pastor. The hope is Jesus. He is the answer to ALL of the worlds problems. The sooner we realize this and actually do something about becoming more like Him, the better off we’ll be no matter what happens on this earth, that is quickly fading away and will one day be destroyed! (Matthew 6:19-21, Matthew 24:35-51, 2 Peter 3:13)
If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, then just ask Him to reveal Himself to you and to put someone in your life who can help direct you to Him. Let us know and we’ll do all we can to answer any of your questions and if we don’t know, we’ll find out for you!
If you say you have a relationship with Jesus but aren’t seeking after Him with all your heart, mind, and soul (Deuteronomy 6:4-7), becoming more like Him in all you say and do (1 John 2:6), showing you love Him by obeying all He’s told us to do in His Word (John 14:15), and making disciples of those around you (Matthew 28:19-20). Ask yourself, what will it take for you to do what you need to do to actually follow Jesus in such a way that those around you see Him in all you say and do? Again, if this is you, please reach out to us or someone you know who can accurately divide The Word of Truth and share with you how you can begin today to live a life on this earth that will honor and glorify The LORD!
LORD I pray that You would give me the faith I need to please you today and every day! I pray that this too is your prayer!
Pray for us as we pray for you! Please feel free to reach out to us with specific prayer requests, you can always call one of us on the phone. We'd love to pray with and for you and to the best of our ability answer any questions you may have soley using God's Word! We desire to be one another people! It’s the only reason we’re on this earth!
Here to serve and disciple until He calls us home,
