That which has been is that which will be [again], And that which has been done is that which will be done again. So there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9 AMP
There's so much bad and/or misinformation in the world today, even, unfortunately, in a lot of churches. It seems that we've gotten sucked into the world's philosophies, thinking, and ways as if somehow God all suddenly has lost all or some of His power and ability to give us all we need for all of life! Like there's something new under the sun, not!!
If you think there's something different in the world today as far as sin, struggles, issues, drugs, alcohol, etc., have you read Genesis or any of the rest of God's Word?? People, sin, and the effects of sin in our lives, how we feel and think about ourselves, etc., have always been the same in this world.
God hasn't changed (Hebrews 13:8), His ways and thoughts are still not ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), people haven't changed (Jeremiah 17:9), sin hasn't changed (Romans 5:12-14). The only thing that has changed is our thinking in regard to whether or not we believe in God's Word and the total sufficiency of it. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
Since God hasn’t changed, how have we changed? How do we view God and His Word? Either it's true or it isn't. Either God is all we need, or He isn't. Whenever we turn to anything that isn't 100% from The LORD what we're saying is that He isn't big enough, wise enough, strong enough, doesn't care enough about us, etc.!
We don't need anyone or anything telling us we need anything in addition to God. Yes, you may end up getting where you wanted to go when you adopt man's ways that may even include a lot of God's ways, but partial disobedience (not following God's Word 100%), is still disobedience! His ways are always better than ours! He has a much better plan!
The Bible is full of stories of how people lived their lives, many of which partially followed The LORD. Though they ended up, in some instances, doing the right thing, the path that got them there was never what God intended and much rougher then if they would’ve just listened to God!
Following The LORD will not be easy. Life isn’t easy. But why make it harder? If Jesus is The LORD of our life, then The Holy Spirit lives inside of us. He’s not there to be quiet, make suggestions, etc. He’s there to lead and guide us through ALL of our lives! We also have God’s Word to lead and guide us like it says is Psalm 119:105.
Praying we'll dig deep into His Word today and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through all that The LORD is allowing in our life, the so-called good or bad.
Need help with your walk with The LORD? Don’t have a real relationship with Jesus? Reach out to us, it’s why we exist on this earth!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions, prayer requests, etc. We'd love to pray with and for you and to the best of our ability answer any questions you may have soley using God's Word!
Here to serve and disciple until He calls us home,

I encourage you to click, read, study and even memorize these passages for yourself and NOT to just not just take my word for it. (Psalm 119)
